Bon Appetit!

By Malin Miller on November 25, 2010

Here in the US today is the famous Thanksgiving a true only American holiday. It’s all about family and friends gathering around the table. So I picked out a few scenarios of beautiful table settings to inspire a Thanksgiving table or for you other guys outside the US an autumn table!

I love this so simple but underlines the idea, don’t be afraid of multiplying your accessories!

Love the turkey plates……

Love the shabby chic with the farmhouse table and the golden turkeys

The colors in this one are just fantastic, a throw has been used as a table cloth what a great idea!

Sometimes just a simple idea makes the whole table, a few pears in a jar!

Very elegant!

On the younghouselove blog they did 3 festive versions of the same table

I can see the snowflakes falling outside in this one!

A great way of recycling the bottles to add some beautiful green to the table!

Here the beautiful china has the leading role and the drift wood is the cherry on top!

What a beautiful color combination the turquoise and red, I suppose duck would rather be served here than turkey………

The Filipino fashion designer Monique Lhuillier set this table. Gorgeous isn’t it?

The center piece is actually a log that she carved out to put her vases in!

Go to choosetothrive.blogspot to see how  this fun project was done, to put either on your mantelpiece or on your Thanksgiving Table.

Thanks, Malin. Inspiring post. I love the long row of pillar candles and the green bottles (hurrah for finding inspiration in the recyling box!). The ‘turkey plates’ look near the start of the post could be achieved with a photo, photocopy, or printed napkin between the dinner plate and the glass salad plate.
