Working on a kitchen project I came over these pictures the other day for inspiration and just realized they all have a common factor WOOD. Tired of the granite counter tops then just enjoy these pictures.
Isn’t this a dream space to get inspired for some great cooking. A lot of light, a lot of space and this beautiful wooden appliances. I really like the sitting area with the wheels on the table.
This is a very interesting play of different woods, olive ash cabinetry and the kitchen island in American walnut. The burgundy splash back is gorgeous against the wood and the black counter tops. The leather chairs is an interesting idea in the kitchen easy to clean off!
A very simple but clean lined solution in a loft.
I am not a big fan of these extreme contemporary kitchens I called laboratories, however, this one as it is in wood kind of warms up the atmosphere.
Ok, we do not all have huge areas to have our kitchens in. This is rather a more often situation with a long and narrow kitchen, however, well designed I think when it comes to some fun design solutions. It has a feel of luxury due to the crystal lamp, the black cray paint on the wall together with Tracy Kendalls fork wall paper (I have it too and I love it) makes the corridor like kitchen very inviting.
You know me I cannot help myself as soon as I see something odd and funny it needs to go on my blog. This kitchen island is made out of lego how smart isn’t that and you cannot get it more colorful than that!

I love the lego kitchen, I have been thinking to recycle all my kids leg0’s
(?*) as soon as they ‘ll grown up I will then build a piece of furniture.
* by the way what’s the plural of lego – one lego – two legi – like one spaghetto due spaghetti ?????
