Shelves, shelves, shelves

By Malin Miller on April 3, 2013

Finding a great way of displaying your books or just things you want to simply expose isn’t easy.

But here are a few ideas of some great ways…

I like a lot systems where you can decide yourself how you want to display. The Insert coin shelving by a German designgroup Neuland Industridesign is a perfect shelving for your own fantasy.

Yes I am a big fan of built in libraries if you have a big collection of books.

I love love love this Piniwini bookshelf. Gives such a great graphic on the wall.

This shelf “Cell” is soon becoming an icon piece   in Sweden. It came out in 2007 designed by a Swedish moviemaker!!! Peter Cohen and it enters the world of high tech furniture. The paper thin shelves made of MDF covered with metal can take up to 150 kg per shelf!

They stick together with this beautiful detail of the metal cross and a steel wire with the small marble balls in zink keeps it all together beautifully!

You have a feeling of a floating shelf on the wall!

This Cell shelf and the PiniWini will be sold in my interior shop in Geneva.
