Every time I move I finally get some old projects finally finished….. Moving back to Europe after 4 exciting years in the US I am now digging in to the wonderful world of fabrics. And I am doing some exciting upholstery on my own (the easy ones) and some more complicated are going to the upholster! As soon as I am finished with them I will post some before and after pictures.

An upholstered piece that speaks to you! The LA based company Voila has a collection called Voici! with some unique one of a kind original upholstered pieces. The Wordy collection is a silk screened fabric with famous quotes from Oscar Wilde, Albert Einstein among others. What a sofa to have a great conversation on!
Who would think upholstery would go on a lamp! Well the Italian designer duo DZ studio was inspired by the Chesterfield sofa and wanted to challenge themselves by using the same technique on a round hemisphere. The result is really gorgeous.
The lamp is called “Clamp”. They used leather from the fashion industry easier to mold with.
