I think we all have in mind that after Christmas spring is coming. But it doesn’t matter how hard we wish for it, it still will take some time until we will hear twittering and see some green. And with minus still going on in the temperatures we sure need to keep that fire going. When you look into the fire design department there sure are some interesting ways of exposing your fire.
This is certainly one of my favourites. How smart isn’t that, to be able to place your fire wherever you’re going in the house! The Swedish designer Fredrik Hylten Cavallius is the brilliant guy behind this called “Piet” portable fireplace.
It’s a brass reflector that burn sethanol fuel so there is no smoke!
As I said you can remove it anywhere, how cool isn’t it to have one in your bathroom!
These contemporary fireplaces are all designed by Dominique Imbert at the French company focus-creation. This one has a little humour to it!
Another portable fireplace. Could see that in the middle of your dining table too!
Fire floating in the air.
And here follows some interesting modern twists on the stone aged fire that we are all so fascinated by.
I love this a great contemporary twist on the traditional stove where you stored the wood under the fire case. This one is designed by the fire stove company Wittus
What makes it so interesting is the offset of the firecase
Keep that fire going
