Open Sesame…….

By Malin Miller on April 11, 2011

I don’t know about you but here spring definitely has arrived. And with spring the first steps to go out side make you really look at your house at a distance. What does it really look like? And above all what does your front door look like. The choice of a front door is essential it’s making a statement who your are, what is your message to the rest of the world………… Knocking on this or that door you do expect the inside to follow………… So let’s check it out Knock knock open Sesame

I certainly wood knock on this door. What a wonderful color, as soon as I see front doors colored with an intense color I feel like walking up to the house and just simply say hello knowing that I will sympathize with these people!

Pink eaven better how bold isn’t that!

Very English I do admit and the vegetation enhances the color even more.

A red front door never goes wrong very bold and it makes a statement for sure.

There is no reason why the front door should loose color once we have entered the house.

A front door that gives a geometrical statement it goes perfectly with the house.

This is actually more about the entrance experience as a whole  than only the door. The brilliant way they have framed this door into an almost 3d-experience is terrific.

Sometimes it’s in the details what makes this front door so interesting is just the few inches of the line surpassing above the door which actually makes you forget about the door and it enhances the linear fitures of the  house .

Here it is the clash between materials used that caught our eye,  the white concrete with the yellowish brushed glass door.

Every front door might not be as fancy but it’s all about to feel invited to knock on the door because behind it you know that this door is telling you something  and you are intrigued what is going on behind the doors     Open Sesame……………..
