Here you have a designer so intrigued by the material cardboard that he is capable making a ceramic vase look like as if it was made out of cardboard. Check out the Italian Designer of the Cardboard Vase, Paolo Ulian.
Tord Boontje from Holland one of my favorite designers came up with this so fragile design of what is otherwise a very common object a wine bottle. Not only is this a recycled product but it’s production was set in Guatemala to help local artisans. 23people are employed in the workshop now dedicated to the whole line of the Trans glass collection. It has also become a part of the collection of MOMA NY.
Brush vase by an American designer Harry Allen. You get creative just looking at it, up to you if you want flowers, pens or your paintbrushes in there. Made out of resin and marble.
This vase, Hula Hoop vase by Italian designer Cristiana Giopato makes me think about stacked up pebbles you picked up from the beach.
