Finally the two shops of Teo Jacob are now under one roof. And they are not kidding around over 1000 sqm of showroom. They held the inauguration this weekend. The magnificent horses by the Swedish Front were parading. I like the idea of modules here and there which makes the showroom more fun and playful! I loved the steel staircase in the middle of the space. But the most interesting piece in the whole showroom is this “rocking chair” . The Swiss designer Adrien Rovero is part of a project “Verbier Mountain Climbers” to redefine old ski telecabines . Several designers work each on their reinterpretation of a telecabine. The result will be shown throughout Switzerland and finally be sold at auction via Christie’s and all funds will go to the Swiss Foundation Make-A-Wish who realizes dreams of hospitalized children. Isn’t that great when design meet solidarity!
