Yes there is a certain spree in cycling since a couple of years in Geneva. If you now can call that cycling it’s all electric!!!!!!! I put that project behind me arriving to Geneva 20 years ago, I quickly understood this is not a town to cycle in being pushed into a corner by a bus! Too spoiled with great cycle routes coming from Scandinavia!
Anyhow the cycling inspired my blog theme today.
This cool “Tour table” with real size bicycle wheels is an icon piece in the interior world. Made by one of the few woman designers after the post war area Gae Aulenti. Italian Architect she did the museum Quai d’Orsay in Paris among other things. This table was designed in 1980 but still gives a strong impact in your interior.
Another icon in the design is Fornasetti, the Italian painter, sculptor and engraver, here is a high frieze wallpaper. I just love it!
I’m amazed how few here uses the bicycle basket it’s such a great accessory.
And this one how cute isn’t it with the inspiration from grannie’s crocheted tablecloths. Practical too it comes with a shoulder bag so you can carry it around. Yes it’s for sale in my shop!
If you had a lot of bikes in your life you could always make a trophy of your handles!!!! hm reminds me of a certain painter Picasso wasn’t it………….
When I initially commented I clicked the “Notify me when new comments are added” checkbox and now each time a comment is added I get several e-mails
with the same comment. Is there any way you can remove people
from that service? Thank you!
Hello Vida, sorry about that. However, I really do not know what to do. I suppose you could go in to my webpage and ask not to be subscribed anymore. And then subscribe you again but this time without clicking on the notify…………… sorry can’t help you more Best regards Malin
