There is something that is really annoying in interior design and that is all the electrical cords we need to deal with. It’s long and ugly and when shooting photos you really need to be careful to get them out of the picture. If only we could go cordless as the Internet!
Well for the moment I suppose we just have to live with it and why not make some art out of it!
Or form it into an actual lamp “the Cord lamp” as did the Swedish design trio “Form us with love” great name by the way.
If you don’t know what to do with your extension cord you can always turn it into your own lamp creation, you can actually by the base and just role your cord up around it and you have a coil lamp!
The Britt Guy Brown who works with a design group called Farm has his own version how you could store the cords in this lamp called “Reel light”!
For you out there building a new home put this in to your walls! A wall socket that stores your extension cords how smart isn’t that. The Rambler socket is made by Meysam Movahedi.
As if we hadn’t enough of the cords you could actually knit one, how crazy isn’t that!
