I have something with red apples at Christmas. After all red is the x-mas color and bringing the nature into your house makes it really cosy. We threaded each apple and just nailed it up on the porch. Great entrance isn’t it!
Apples again! Such an easy way to make your own candle lights. Just scoop out a little bit of the apple and place the candle inside.

I’ve never been a huge fan of gingerbread houses but when I saw a picture of this sugar castle I told the kids let’s do this! Very easy to do just buy these sugar cubes and glue them together with icing.
Put candles in the towers and it will lit up your Christmas table beautifully! The kids had great fun doing it.

Remember the oranges we made as kids with the cloves we put in them to smell good? Here is an updated version of that, we got some good looking pears and covered each letter with the cloves and put them on the mantelpiece.
