The Guru company when it comes to color Pantone has given it’s verdict for next year; Honeysuckle is the official color of 2011. It’s courageous, confident and vital! The motivation for the choice of color is – need for something uplifting saturated bright pink. I am not a great pink fan but due to the reddish in this pink hue I think it could be interesting as an accent color here and there.
This is a great entrance color for the one who dares………… Especially with the black accents on the chair, rug and the high glossed stairs.
As I said works great as an accent color. We always think about pink as a feminine color but the deepness of the honeysuckle hue does that it could integrate both men and women in a room I think.
Not only great with black but goes well with chocolate brown too.
The Atlanta based Interior Designer suzannekasler.com did this charming bedroom.
Kind of tired of the red doors, go honeysuckle guys!
Don’t need to do a whole wall, just paint a panel and see how great it looks.
What a great idea! If you don’t want to be too bold with a color just paint half of it!
First of all love the Eames rocking chairs on the pourch secondly in this color even better!
