If you wondered where I’ve gone I disappeared down south for a week and visited the gorgeous New Orleans, in the following pictures you can admire some incredible buildings from this town.
All these houses just make you feel like rocking on a porch. Here comes some modern versions of the ever so loved Rocking Chair.
Stingray by the danish designer Thomas Pedersen. Inspired by the oceanic creature with wing like fins.
While rocking, might as well do it ecologically, the more you rock this chair the more the light will light up! Murakami designed by an American designer Rochus Jacob.
Gaivota by the French/Brazilian designer Reno Bonzon. Beautifully executed in walnut stained beech plywood. The most rewarded creation in Brazil and I can understand why.
A very linear Rocking Chair by a Brittish designer Toby Howes perfectly called “Wishbone”!
