Cosy candle is designed by the Swedish glass blower Asa Jungnelius. She is one of the new young generation of glassblowers at Kosta Boda (which exists since 1742). They sure got a new look with her very contemporary interpretations of hand blown glassware. She is intrigued by the question can gold from a spray can bring the same joy as gold from a mine? She wants to explore the relationship between genuine or fake, how the value of an object is created.
So Asa this candle holder – at the end of the day the gold in our hands just fades (or melts!) away????????
This glass is a part of a collection she calls “Jackie” might she refer to the very luxurious Kennedy! Anyway love the golden rim that just keeps on running………
The very famous gunlamp by Philippe Starck. Designed in 2005 for Flos can obviously be interpreted in million ways – so has the violence entered our home too and dressed itself in luxury clothes. It for sure will make a statement in your home.
