The starecase is a major feature in your home sometimes neglected and sometimes not,
The red enhances the staircase with the dominant grey color all over in this entrance.
This is such a great idea! Who doesn’t want to have a rainbow in the middle of the house?! And it fits perfectly the bohemian atmosphere created in this entrance.
A lot of people loves to have a rug running through the stairs but I find it rarely appealing, however, with this solution of using sisal ( a natural fiber from the coconut) which isn’t so thick really gives it a very chic look. I actually think the black border of the rug makes the real statement.
Yes wallpaper doesn’t necessarily only need to go on the wall but works out perfectly in between the stairs. Very cool and graphic!
I love this reversed roleplay where the actual wood of the stairs becomes the runner! What a great idea!
Musn’t forget the back of the stairs, here turned into a pure work of art. What a great display!
Here it is really the orange line painted on the wall that makes the whole stare case I think. There are million ways we can play around the architecture of the stare case not only to think about the steppes themselves.
If you have a leftover staircase you can always turn it into a library!
